Windscreen Fogging
« on: June 28, 2006, 03:21:33 PM »
Hey Ho,

Can anyone please advise me a good way/product to stop the inside of my windscreen
fogging up? Seems commercial glass cleaner is terrible and made it worse  :-\
With all this cold weather it's starting to become a pain in the ass.

Would prefer suggestions other than using the de-mist funct on my a/c   ;) :P

Thank you in advance  ;)

Yea FogX or similar works great.

Don't use it currently...but have used it before and its pretty ok. There are other similar products like it too.

Well stop carrying on with the Back Seat Antics..

Then you wont have to worry about the windows fogging and getting stains on the seat..

I recall seeing one of those jif home handy tips ads where they recommended using dishwashing detergent in your bathroom for the mirror. i tried it once and as i recall it worked. Not sure if you add a small bit of water or not. If it works in that scenario, the windscreen defog is a peice of cake

Good luck

Damp (not wet) newspaper folded into a hand sized square is good.

Wipe it, dont rub.

I've heard hair shampoo will do the trick - some Targa guys use it.

Would Pantene do the trick? Won't happen over night . . .
