Shaving Cream is meant to work as well

Just wash the inside of the window with it

NB dont put rain x on the inside and anti fog on the outside by mistake that really fogs up, a friend did it once by mistake and in the end had to clean the screen with alcohol

Ok, so to summerise:

I need to park in the garage with the windows down before I spark up the bong, whilst washing my hair try to apply lather to windscreen without cutting myself shaving or spilling my lion red unless its onto a newspaper (which is covering the back seats to avoid further stains) which I then wipe the windscreen until clean.

Got it!

Put a brick through your windscreen and replace it with Chicken mesh like stock cars, RUGGED! I'm pretty sure chicken mesh doesn't fog up... However if it does, use MK4GTI's idea and drink a doz lion red then your vision will bne so foggy you won't notice the fog on the windscreen.. or something...

whatever you end up doing, if it works let me know. ever since i had mine replaced it tends to fog a little bit.

OK...so I know this is an old thread, but with winter coming...I have to know.

WHAT WORKED and WHAT DIDN'T?

My old B4 80 used to be a shocker and I tried every product + shampoo and everything else...was useless.

My Golf fogged up the other day in the rain and I thought...GREAT - it's the Audi all over again!

Any REAL tips...other than bollocks about back-seats, beer and chicken-wire?
