Isnt a RSI basicly a R32 with the beetle body? Wouldnt it be 4motion? or is that haldex? I have no idea!
Just yesterday I saw a yellow beetle with a old Porsche style turbo badge. I think its factoryy but it does look very nice!

Surprisingly I get loads of waves and friendly honks of the horn by new versions of the beetle when driving in my 64 bug.

Its quite neat gives a sense of motoring history

I thought that the only "road car" RSI was a car that came out for shows and then was shipped back? How would they reg a LHD car out here of that age?

BTW, have you ever seen the racing RSI thats in NZ?

Beetle RSI is 3.2 for sure, I've seen several in the UK.

Also 4Motion is Haldex, Haldex is the techincal type, 4Motion the marketing speak

And I've only ever known the Beetle RSI to be silver, but I could be wrong.

I thought RSI's were only LHD and that the only one in NZ was an EMD promo car, that had to be trailered every where (because it can't be registered).
