How much tranny fluid should i add into 97 golf vr6 tranny after drained completely

You keep filling it until it comes out the fill hole under the car from what I recall, might only be 3"-4L or less, as you can't get all the fluid out when you drain it.
I think your meant to have the oil upto a certain temp also.
