Seeing as how we have a A2 forum I thought Id ask the question (because I dont no), did EMD sell these cars new?

Ive only ever seen one out on the road. I feel they were too small/over priced for the NZ market.

How much were they trying to sell them for?

Theres a black one close to my place - some people find them odd.
I like the A2. But not as much as that blue Lupo out there somewhere.

I saw the black a2 today, 1.4 tdi with aftermarket 17" Mak Raves.

Looked rather nice

I saw the blue Lupo today !

EMD brought in 2 A2's both TDi, there is also a petrol somewhere, private import.

EMD brought here to evaluate for sale, but decided against selling here. same with the blue Lupo

Two A2s were brought in officially - a 1.4 petrol and a 1.4 TDI. The TDI is now on 17" alloys, and has been for sale at CCS a few times over the past few years. Nice cars!

I saw the one with the Mak Raves on tuesday night.

Its manual too, it looks pretty cool but I bet they are damn expensive!

Reading Autocar UK yesterday & there was a piece on the upcoming new A2, a bit more normal in shape, & not built from aluminium

There is a Gold A2 1.4 in Nelson.

They were all manual transmissions for RHD.
You could get an Auto but only in LHD (mostly german market) they also offered a 1.2 engine that was the one that could get the high fuel economy. It also ran on skinny hard tyres.

If you do buy one they hold their value well as they are well built, cheap to run 5dr and rare. They are also 98% recyclable. As they are no longer in production its the thinking persons environmental car.

I love the A2's too.

Would love to see how much the A2 Tdi is going for? Anyone any ideas who has it?? CCS? Is that Continental Car Services???
