the rage will be tempered by the limited production run, the run could extend, but I imagine that would depend on the extent to which VW is prepared to lose money as I imagine they're not making any on these wee beasties

I was being faceitious, no one ion their right mind is spending 98,000+ on a thing like this.
OK as a concept to prove a point, but beyond that what is the point?

they could probably sell all 200 in Hollywood

but I think that there are good reasons like gaining experience in manufacturing new technologies, particularly weight and material related, building expectation for future product and just plain old marketing
