My KESSY push in slug, which starts and shuts the car wont start the car.
In the info panel it says" no key found" or similar even tho the key is in my pocket.
So I pulled the slug and used the push in key from my pocket and we go.
Does the KESSY push in slug have a battery?
Does this mean the battery in my key is low on juice?
Both?
Thanks!

Sounds like the battery is flat to me.

Whats the best batteries?
I got some from Pansonics from New World and they had poor range and if the car is driven a lot in one day, I often get the " no key found" reading, so I have to put in the main KESSY plug in and pull out the slug.
I tried Energizers from Mitre 10 and they are worse.
Dont want to drive 100+ klics to AKL for a battery from Giltraps.
What should the voltage be for the battery when new?
