This is a Quiet thread!

So i'll share a picture of my new ride.

2012 Amarok, Highline
All 132kw of diesel power, hardly a quick car but chugs alone nicely with the 8 speed auto, Tows well and handy for taking crap to the dump
Goes well off road and drives like a big car on road so pretty happy.

No plans to do any mods

BUILT not bought

audi s4v8

2018 Volkswagen Amarok V6 3lTDI highline 8speed Auto.
Starlight Blue.. awesome power, I'm coming from a audi s4 v8 and this ute is more fun and throws you in the seat better too!
its been fitted with a smoke black stone guard. i am going to get side rail steps fitted and canyon bar with a lid fitted soon

2018 Amarok Extreme 3.0 in Ravenna Blue
180kW of coal rolling V6 powered towing brilliance

Mods so far: retractable lid, rubber mats and chrome 90% blacked out.
This week receiving a package from Manta Pro (Perth, WA) containing a certain 3" stainless full exhaust, goodbye to that pesky DPF. Tune to follow.

Very overdue update: Exhaust done. Tune done. Chrome 80% gone. Sound 1000% better due to current small mod to dump straight after the downpipe. Unbreakable constant smile.
Led to believe that now as it's technically at Stage 2 it's running approx 230kW & over 700NM, but yet to dyno & determine... just enjoying this new ute.
Will upload pictures when I can.

Yep sometimes, it's like any other car modifications. Trigger happy inspectors will fail anything at will.
Engine running more efficient + cleaner = controlled emissions, no smoke & happy tree people.

Plus it's handy to have people you know in those circles.  :D

Hi all. Anyone looking for a tidy lower mileage V6 Amarok pm me - have moved over to the dark 4-ring side, back to an estate.

Was the best, will be missed.
The new Amarok is good, but these old ones were great
