 ;D
1988 GTI 16v, 3dr, Tornado Red, just done 282,000k's.
Adjustable Konis at the front and Bilsteins on the rear are about the extent of modifications. My plans are to return to it's original glory but with a few extra enhancements. I'm already part way there with the Corrado steel wheels and factory exhaust, one day I'll get some crystal head lights and smoked tail lights. At some point I'll get the body freshened up and look at getting a bit more power out of the KR.

What it looked like when I bought it;

and now;

1991 UK import Golf GTI, 8v

mods:
Sachs struts and Jamex springs
Passat hubs, calipers and discs
Clear tail lights & indicators
17" Advanti Mags
debadged grill
G60 arches
KnN panel filter

Plans:
at the moment im a student so I don't have any money to spend on mods and most of my income is spent on living and petrol etc... but once ive a finised and have real job I want to give the engine a top end rebuild or potenially replaced with a 16valve. Id like to fit extractors and a pod filter also
The gearbox also needs a bit of work too.

It has a few little dents and nics which I'd love to get sorted

Holy crap what a freak, drooling over the pictures of you old golf and still manage to pick out a blurred barely visible clio sport, kinda funny the way that has worked out with you going to a clio sport as well.
