Tyres are 175/50/13 on 8.5" all around.

Front can come down lower, without rubbing but that sump wont last long haha and yer so gutted I didnt make it

just need to put tyres back on now

This is my second Mk2 which i picked up two days ago. I now own two Mk2's, one for the North Island, one for the South

Stock 1989 CLi manual with 199kk on the clock. Fairly straight and tidy, just a handful niggles like dodgy wipers and lights. Engine, drivetrain and steering are solid. Plans include giving it a good tidy up, lowering it to around 16v height (not too low, i want to keep it chugging on dodgy gravel b-roads), 15" dub wheels, GTi trim, and possibly some sound deadening to make it just a little plush.

Been a long time since I've posted an update. Would like to thank all those who have helped me understand just how much fun these cars are and those who have contributed information and links for spares. Thank guys. 1990 golf MkII GTI 8V purchased by me in the UK and brought back in 1994.
