Be easier to s/c it. Just copy a g60 with a Eaton m62

Is there enough room in the engine bay for them?
Sorry mate nice job but they wont fit,go straight down with an offset for the subframe 4 pipes into a connector and a 2 inch flexy connector ,mid resonator after decat and you will find 2-4kw if you do it right

M45 better for a 1.8 and they will fit with a/c delete ,don't turbo a 8v ,VW tried years ago and spent a huge amount money developing the G60 blower ,good system but not as reliable as the Eaton, this is an expensive mod having said that,
1974 Porsche 914 with 2.2T 911 6cyl,

Did you make the rails for the seats?

MK3SOME

yip still have your number ash il give you a buzz.
was thinking 7500 dean which is reasonable considering
rims tyres, suspension and seats alone worth over 6k and the car is very tidy
and goes well with 150ks.had plans of turbo engine etc but after redbull
drift shifters i think i wana focus more on my drift car for now.
and yes i made the seat rails.

Gave the Jetta a good work out today on a day trip to Piha and Karekare to do a few small bush tramps and enjoy the sun with my girlfriend.

The ABF went great up and down the hills! Pulls so well through all the gears. All new bushers makes a huge difference in handling and the bigger 256mm brembos make it stop! Still has that awesome Mk2 feel with the 020 but damn the ABF can rev  8) heaps of torque all through the rev rage too.

Used bugger all gas, think its better on gas then my old 8v! Temperature stayed perfect the whole time too. Really happy with the swap  ;D

Again another huge thank you to Choppy, Timmy, Jem, Anton and everyone of Vask for your help. Couldn't have done it with out you!

So good to be back in the old valver after 2 weeks of a Corrolla Ceres....although the aircon and auto in the traffic was very nice
