Whats the options for an easy brake upgrade on a 5x100 car? Needs to fit under 16" wheels

Assuming it's a gti/vr6? If so you'll have 288mm discs

First steps would be braided brake hoses, good fluid and fast road/track pads.

TT 225bhp 312mm disc is an awesome upgrade but you need 17" wheels to clear them.

Same story with LCR brembo callipers.

You can fit 312s under 16"s depending on the wheel design. I had 312s under 16x8 Speedlines Corse no problem.

I agree though some decent pads, fluid and brake lines is the easiest upgrade with 288s and probably fine for most situations. If not enough then 312 and correct calliper carrier is next simple upgrade.

Beaten too it by Flix!  :P

Had done some more searching and as Flix says the TT 312 disc will go under certain 16s offset dependent.
