I don't believe it is a members car, or at least an active member. it is the facelift version, so the one you want to get and the alcantara inserts on the black leather is the first time I've seen that spec. I'd be a little suspicious of all the ear on buttons and around key and light switch for !12,000kms- My old S3 had done 120 and the interior was immaculate, but that could also be just a lazy owner or lady with nails. Looks pretty original, and if it looks good after an inspection, it's a good buy at that price i would think for the KM's. Hope that helps...

I'd be very suspicious of the mileage too. Way too much wear!

Those wear marks could be from perfume on peoples hands that have effected the coatings on the knobs and buttons.

Thanks Poonmobile, Trofeo & RS ZWEI

I wasn't able to check out that last S3 in time and it sold for just under 12K

Any comments you'd like to make about this S3?

Cheers.

That looks well priced, 2003 model also.

Due for cambelt?

I miss both my s3's!

Owner said "Cambelt hasn't been done recently" so can only assume that it will need it done in the short term.

Recently serviced at Ebbet Audi in Hamilton - report said clutch was fine.

Alternative to this are;
1. 2005 GTI manual or a
2. 2005 Tdi.

Two different cars but both of interest.

What about this then?

A bit more money but I figure a cambelt change for the S3 will add about a grand to the price.

RS ZWEI

I think the S3 would be the rarer cooler car, but a Mk5 GTI would be a better handling, better drivers car.
