There's a company in Europe who will be getting some more of the refurbed white AZEV 5 spokes later in the year:

They're not a bad price, waiting on a postage quote. I think they're the best option for aftermarket. Then I can keep the stock wheels and get them sorted out over time.

Called Just Rust. Trying not to hassle them too much :)
The rear corner is rebuilt in metal now, not rust and filler. Front guards aren't removed yet, waiting for that to happen to see the A pillar rust. And they have promised me some more photos.

Some work going on there.
Always amazes me how  rust takes hold in a multitude of places rather than all over although I guess given time it creeps further and further

No more progress yet - they tell me it's booked for a couple of full weeks soon.

Is it wrong that I'm thinking about changing the rear spoiler? If I get the white 17s this would look cool.

In my opinion, originality is what counts on a classic like this.
All the bling that can be added looks cool but detracts from the image.
I always think that bling appeals to the less knowledgable while the true enthusiast looks past all that

keep all the original parts and do what makes you happy. you're not building it for other people's approval right?  >:D

otherwise you're just keeping it original for the next owner instead of enjoying it how you want it.

If I was the fun police I would recommend holding off on the bling bits till you have the car on the road.

Yes I'm trying to do that :D Not having the car to work on makes me browse the internets and look at things. With the spoiler, it would need painting. And the existing one needs painting....

They have promised me a full 9 days's work starting today.

Looking forward to the promised photos of what's under the front guards.
I'm off work Thursday so I'll call in for a look :D

I like your thinking. But I haven't worked out if I can afford this one yet :D

Apparently there's a red one for sale near me, with no engine.

Rear end now getting sorted out. Many towbar fixing holes to fill. And stripping the underseal has revealed a bodged repair from when the car has been hit in the rear. It was mostly held together with underseal behind the rear arch.
