Door handle looks like a mk1 vw one...?

I think it's identical to a Mk2 Golf one, maybe Mk1 as well?

Dammit. Didn't notice this before. And the spare from the donor car is wobbly. Hopefully I can make one good one out of the two.

I bought a rear plate frame with a reversing camera built in but I had to cut it down to fit. The screen is in the rear view mirror.
Adding some mod cons in as subtle a way as possible.

Hey Rob that white bulb holder looks like a MK2 golf front park light bulb holder. The grey one looks like it could be from a Japanese car or from Narva.

Awesome thanks for that, this looks like it might do the trick

Thanks mate. I ordered a couple from the above link. Will let you know if they don't fit. I still have that centre vent for you too.

You should!

I pulled the heated seat wiring out last night. Now it looks much less daunting. Haha.

Thanks to VASK member td19 I now have two excellent condition wing mirrors. Thanks Tony for the contribution to Project Rusty, I really appreciate it, and the little extra you included too!

Your focus and progress is outstanding Rob.
I've been thinking of a drive to Welly for some time now and seeing your hard work first hand could be a damn good reason to "fire up the quattro"
Maybe I'll have some others to join in too???

What a great start to a Saturday morning, a cuppa tea and my quattro to work on.

Some tidying was done of the driver's side wiring.

I couldn't face any more of the tangle under the dash so I started installing the loom for the new central locking.

It's almost long enough.

And I got the boot opening actuator installed. There happened to be two holes in the perfect spot.
It's all wired in with the relay in place, but I haven't worked out the fuse box connections yet so no live :D
