I spent an hour working on some wiring today, mostly for the alarm/immobiliser. Didn't finish it but it's certainly immobilised as it won't start at all now
More to do. Central locking half works, of course the door that doesn't is the one I've put the trims back on. And the boot actuator isn't working either.
I did get the reversing camera fully working, which is cool.
And fitted a replacement handbrake light switch. The original one exploded.
I wish I had more time!

That could have been expensive. After the earthquake last night and when I went to check the garage I found this. Luckily the tyre hit the paint, and the wheel didn't fall on its face. Phew.

Today I got the boot carpets installed.






Need to clean up the nasty hard adhesive off the carpet for the boot lid and buy some appropriate glue to stick it on.

Started on fitting the GPS tracker.




Found out why my door won't open from outside any more. The metal lever has snapped! Found a brand new one on Ebay for a very reasonable price.



Garage is flooding a bit. I don't approve of this.

Great to see the progress with you WR, I check it out every day.

I need the left hand headlight 'body' just the plastic, not the lens or the reflector parts.
The one that is in my RR has 2 broken mounting attachment parts/clips.
Not sure if you would have one from your 'donor' car but I ask you if you can help.

Passenger seat scrubbed. Needs more scrubbing but I ran out of cleaning stuff.





Looks great. Shame I forgot to bolt the seatbelt clip in place, passenger seat has to come back out. It took a lot of jiggling to get in!

I think D-LUX is my new favourite CarPro product.
So impressed at how well this plastic came up, with a single coat. I'll do another coat to get the little bits I missed.

I wasn't convinced those wheels were going to work so well when you first started talking about them. But they have actually turned out bloody well. Good choice!

Slowburn popped round the other night and dropped off some pipe for the windscreen washers.



Ignoring the headlight washers for now.
