What is a classic? I guess if you asked 10 people that same question you would get 10 different answers.

Great to see you are getting there.
By the way, i went to the Kapiti car show this morning for a look with the urquattro only to be told i cant park in the display area as this is not really a classic car.
If i would have taken the corvette or even the s**tty old chevy ute it would have been acceptable.
Nevermind, it shows again how ignorant and one eyed some people are, still was a great drive.

I guess it's like Kohl, who just thought it was some old Euro car and had no idea of its history.

Haha, they have been well and truely educated by now.
Apparently there is a car display coming up in April out at battle hill farm that rotary is organising, maybe we should park up the  two quattros as bit of a display.

Yep something else is broken. This switch is leaking. New one on the way, should be here next week.

WoF is very close. Gearbox and rear diff oils arrive tomorrow so they can be done.

Not looking forward to the bill for this lot!

Not much odometer movement lately!
I assume that blip was when someone read the trip counter instead of the odometer!!

Ohhhhh yeah!
Only 33 months and *cough* dollars into this 12 month $15k project and we're on the road. Not finished, but driveable at last.
Thanks to Wellington European for getting me over the line. Legends.

Went to the supermarket while I waited for traffic to die down a bit.

Second supermarket car park of the evening. Terrible pic, it was getting dark :D
The drive home was uneventful. Loud. Very loud. It sounds sooo good though.
It goes well, brakes well, steers nicely, rides nicely. Very happy indeed.
There are definitely some rough edges to sort out, but I can drive it at last! So happy!

👍🏻!!!! Congratulations on the completion of your marathon Rob, boy you've had to fight your way there. All the sweeter for it though, I'm sure 😀, well done.

RobClubley

Still plenty to do but this is a major milestone.
So happy!!
I've created an event on my Facebook page for Sunday night in Newtown if any Wellington people want to come.
