Not yet, no.

Started pulling the rear suspension out to fit the spring spacers.

Well that took a while! Not entirely convinced by the spacers, but they're in place, we'll see what happens!
(The cable ties were removed once it was assembled)

Looking at an earlier pic, it seems to have lifted it a bit
We need a full pic to see what the stance is like.

Yep, didn't get a chance last night to move it, it'll settle a bit once it's driven.

Here's a pic of that shiny new resonator :D

What profile are those tyres ?

215/40R18
They really should be 215/35R18 for correct diameter.

New stance! Definitely better I think.
I love how Montego Black looks so different in different lights.

whats the ride like Rob, any further guard rubbing?

RobClubley

I forgot the caps :D
The ride seems fine. No rubbing but I need to get some fuel added and a couple of passengers to really test it.

Just got Rusty shifted to a classic car policy after popping in to talk about the agreed value. Limited to 5000km but it's lower excess and $530 a year cheaper. Score!

How did you go about getting them to agree on the value. I'm thinking Doris on the front counter would have no idea what a 30 year old Audi would be worth.

I paid for a valuation back in January which they accepted. But the renewal process knocked 10% off, so that's why I went to talk to them.

Fairly low I think. But I've only done 1200 miles which is about 1800km in the last 8 months.

Appropriate.

Commuted to work yesterday in the worst conditions! 130kph winds and rain. Today's new features include no passenger sidelight, passenger headlight as dim as a candle, indicators no longer flash on unlock. Oh and an occasional weird buzzing noise when braking. Must get that new bomb fitted. Always something new to fix!
Also I'm always surprised at how small it looks between newer cars.
