Mk4 V5 Bora starting problem

Got a mk4 bora that had a blown headgasket, so ended up getting another engine, same code, but out of a manual wagon

Now it won't start, only turns over, has got one code that can't seem to work out how to solve, a cam psoition sensor, have changed it over from the old engine, but still doing the same thing.

Are the engine looms the same manual to auto?
Are there any differences with engine bay looms from wagon to sedan?
Any ideas on what it could be or why it wouldn't fire up?

I've got another blown headgasket engine here, could try another sensor, but I can't imagine the first two were the problem
