You need to code it so that the hatch button on the remote actually opens the boot rather than just unlocking it.

So many mods that need coding. Might have to invest in a cable. I knew I should've bought Anton's when it was for sale last year.

Is the coding easy to do?
I am in Southland. Quite happy to purchase the parts if i know there is someone down here who can code it after.

Thomas - as red warrior has suggested. Many mods require recoding with VCDS. Some recoding can't even be done by the dealers.

07gtman - I will price up parts and availability next week. I'm not sure who is in southland that can assist sorry.
