Looking for a 944 S2 engine
« on: March 11, 2016, 10:15:31 am »
Hey chaps,

I've been offered/tempted by a quite tidy 944 S2 that is missing its engine (it was removed for a race car).
The car is way too tidy to part out.

Yes I know there are engine swaps that can be done.  :-X

Anyway, I just wondered if through all the connections people have anyone knew of a 3.0 lying around.

Cheers,
Si.

Well, if any of you have the appetite for doing that, I can put you onto the guy who has the shell.

Personally, I would either put it back to stock, or put an LS series engine in. Everything else seems like a lot of work & $$$s for the performance and residual value.

I don't know. I can ask.

He was looking for $4k and it's in Dunedin, does that put you off?
