I'm not sure who else has had this problem, but I've received the dreaded 65535 fault code on my Haldex controller recently. The Haldex works fine because I regularly service the unit but using my Ross-tech VAGCOM cable, I still cannot communicate with it. I've done some googling, read a bunch and come up with a few solutions, but I'd just like to know if anyone has perhaps a cheaper option? I'd hate to splash out on:

A) competition controller http://www.greedspeed.com/haldex01-haldex-gen-1.html

or

B) a stand alone unit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TC-vv0R1FM

Only to find that someone else has a solution that is better. I don't know about you guys, but I love to get one over "the man"...

As long as it is legal...  :police:

Has anyone read anything about people cracking them open to see what part has failed?

Picture? Everyone likes pictures?

I know the car has Queensland plates but it will most probably be shipped to NZ shortly.

3 cheers for solutions to planned obsolescence!  ;D

Hi There

I'm currently running a group buy on HPA haldex performance controller upgrade with wireless screen.
So you can adjust it on the fly.

have a look in the group buy section, send me a PM and happy to add you to the list.
It's only $1100NZ.

Additionally, from all my research in the past 7 months. the Blue hladex controllers are no longer being manufactured.
Been confirmed from at least 5 sources, so not sure where they are getting these controllers from.

Thanks
