Thanks Guys, I must say I feel a whole bunch better for that. I will be seeing Dad over the weekend, so I'll mention Taupo to him. He is racing in the Endurance race at Manfield in two weeks. He will either take the Quattro or Ford Expedition which is another of his sensational cars. I have lost my license with points added up over a hundred. Dad has brought me an Escort Sport which is quite neat, lowered etc etc. Dad will build me  an engine with a bit more herbs. (about 476hp!....Nah)  He has brought an Escort Sport one owner for my 8 year old brother. So I guess there will be a bit of competition when he turns 15. The people keep ringing him up to put his Quattro or Cosworth Sierra in the Targa but he wont, he doesnt wanna scratch it. So he is building up a 1994 BMW 320 with a turboed 3.5ltr donk. He runs 24 pounds boost in the Cossie so he figures that has more than plenty neddies and wants to run28pound in the Bemma. He is really quite clever and is always tinkering!! (No wonder the old girl lost her rag) But hes a goodie.

Well chaps thank you for exonerating me and that is one thing I'll never do again....now wheres dads keys!!

CheeRS, Troy

Firstly, good on ya Troy for coming clean
Secondly, what car does your Dad race in the endurance series?  Was he racing at Puke last weekend?  I was crewing for a driver in the 1600cc class so he was probably one of our competitors
Thirdly, where's the second windscreen wiper on JIZIM?  There's a passenger side spindle there but from the picture I can't tell if the arm has been removed or converted to "clap hands" style a la 60's Alfa Romeos?

Hi guys, He is driving Ted Jarvis' Toyota Corolla GTi. Number 80. He got 1st in class in qualifying and ended up 3rd in class and 21st o'all after breaking a main ciol lead. He is now coming 2nd to Lewis Scott's Honda in the series. So he's off to Manfield to try and get back to back championships. He is really good in the wet and and since he has been preparing the car for Ted they have had 100 per cent finishing record. They got outright pole position at Taupo in the wet a couple of years back. Dad lapped the whole field up to third place in three quarters of an hour before smashing the throw out bearing after ine and a half hours. So as you can imagine he is constantly doing a rain dance. If it rains at Manfield he will win his class and be pressing the open class cars as well!

The other windscreen wiper is missing after he had the new sreen put in! he's fraught with dispair Hey I can see what you guys see in those UR Quattros...they are the best!.

Hey if your at Manfield go and make yourself known to  him...he's very approachable, and when he finds out you got a connection with Quattro...well...get your ears ready!!

Ah Ted Jarvis's car, I know it... the black Air Vanuatu sponsored Corolla GTi16.? I was crewing for Rex MacDonald in a similar (but slower!) Corolla.? We finished 7th in class/25th overall, had to swap to the reserve car after a smash in practice during the week wrote off the first choice car (another FXGT).

REx isn't doing Manfield this year but good luck to your Dad with the championship!

Tempq18t - I knew the wiper wasn't there!? Take back that comment about my glasses - its you that needs them!? ;)
