Hey there all,

I am looking at getting an R36 Variant (probably an import) and am keen to know what the best OEM upgrade is to get NZ Navigation and Stereo with Bluetooth etc please?

Any direction on price would be appreciated as well.

Cheers

RNS510 is by far the best solution.

Kenwood make one, not the greatest of solutions I'm afraid.
Great sound and features thou.
Price wise for new is $1800+. You will require a canbus upgrade.  For Bluetooth or ipod control?
There is a module for each one to be added on top. Not to mention the few hours to install and code the lot.

.if you can live without the NAV option. I have a great OEM solution. Will post the photo up tomorrow.

Been trialling one in our car for the past 5 weeks. It works flawlessly. Has everything required, colour screen and touch screen as well.

Best part is I can supply the unit with canbus, installed for less than $600
The most amazing part is that's it's a genuine OEM part as well.

Hi guys,

First time post so apologies in advance.

I recently purchased a 2008 Passat R36 (jap import), and am keen to sort out the stereo / nav system etc without compromising anything. As far as I can tell the car has it's factory orignal RNS-510, but I'm told these can't be reprogrammed to NZ?

Would be awesome to have the option of bluetooth, and if possible, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well.

Any ideas if this is possible?

Thanks
