Man, not much happening on the mk3 front!

I think I've been bitten by the VW bug! Had 2 mk2s, Brought wifey a mk3 cabby for her birthday for summer and onto a mk4 bora too! (temp daily)

Anyways, that's the new edition to the fleet! Needs some work, but should be a good summer cruiser! Was hoping to have it ready for spring Jamboree but have had heaps on at work! Hopefully can get it sorted by 7th Dec to take it to the ECC Auckland meet.

Plans? Vento front, crystal taillights (got them so tinted are for sale), new softtop and wheels... not sure what yet... not much cool stuff round at the moment, and building on a budget! lol

I had some time to go through this entire thread for some inspiration and the amount of 3 door vr's on here is insane. The sad thing is that almost every single car in this thread has now had their registration cancelled or been written off around 9 years ago. The only ones with active rego's are Ash's and 1redvw's which is now up here in Auckland.

Saw this 3 door quite close to my house. Rego is TY8426. Rego cancelled last year
