My daughter has just bought her first car - 2004 Mk, great condition. Has anyone out there tell us where to get hold of a good service or owners manual, either online or elsewhere.

The two best are either a Bentley or a Haynes manual.

Check both Amazon and the Book Depository (who often have free shipping to NZ).....

Or check eBay - the come up from time to time (but you may have to contend with someone else's oily fingerprints)

As with all of them - wise to check you've got the right one that matches year and engine

I have both, Bentley is clear, well illustrated and step by step, while a bit more "reading between the lines" is needed with the Haynes

but Haynes is $37NZ through Book Depository, while the Bentley is $88 down from $140 right now

go to your local library and see if the Haynes works for you
