Hi there,

Can anyone please help me with which coolant do i use for my 2003 R32 mk4
My warning light just came on today said STOP CHECK COOLANT so i stopped to check
and its below minimum level. The colour is pink.

I checked on Repco and Supercheap auto website but am unsure which one to buy.

I suggest to use the genuine VW G13. Either from a dealer or Qualitat do the same thing under a different brand name which is a bit cheaper.

Use G13.  But also check the car for leaks, especially around the top of the gearbox.  The leaks only get bigger with time.

You best find out why the coolant level has dropped, you must have a leak somewhere.

Omg i hope theres no leaks, yes I'll definitely watch out for any leaks. Where abouts on top of the gearbox would i find a leak?

If you have leak it would actually be below your intake manifold
Otherwise on the rear of the engine (passenger side) on the over run pump or water fitting on the block.

The other possibility is that it had a slight air bubble and has finally worked its way out?
Without diagnosing it myself? I'm not able to advise which one of the two they are.

But you should have a trail of dried coolant if you have a leak.
