Took ownership of one of these over the weekend. Didn't realize how much I missed the sound of a 5-pot until I opened it up on the motorway.

Fairly good nick. A few cosmetic issues to be dealt to. Door card fabric is loose and then approx 1cm of the chrome side molding has broken off.

Mechanically she seems fine, with the exception of an intermittent flat spot at low revs. Something I hadn't picked up on during a brief test. I haven't VGAcom'd it yet. Will do so when I do fluid and filters tomorrow.

There are couple of things I want to sort out on the Mk3 Wagon before selling it with a reasonably clear conscience. Steering arm bushes, timing belt and hoses.

You have to love those little things in life. Or maybe not.

One week of ownership and the wagon has been the victim of either a wayward shopping trolley or the vagaries of parking in the tight spaces of Victoria St Carpark in heart of Auckland. The outer clear lens of the right rear-light has a crack traveling 1/3 across the diagonal. And that was the nicer one. >:(
