I must say I do like the look of the RCZ and its good to see they do an R model with decent power (199kw). I cant say the price point $69K !!! is great, thats getting into a number of superior cars in terms of looks, quality and performance.

If the value of the near new 2012 models <$30k is anything to go by these thing depreciate faster than Mercs.

Expensive Peugeot 308
Large boot, no interior space to speak of and you will need the build of a monkey to be seated and have the controls within reach

They are actually really nice cars.   I have only driven the 147 Kw Manual version, was great to drive if hopelessly impractical.

The biggest problem was that the R was never an $80k car, not in the slightest, even the standard model was $10k overpriced.

The TT trounced it in every respect.

it's been for sale for a couple of years ?

expensive for a pug but much nicer to drive than any tt.

tt only beats it in ergonomics.

for the money though you could get a 308 gti 270 that's even nicer to drive than rcz and have a wad of cash leftover

It's been out of production for nearly two years

Gordo

Beats me, but then almost any modern-ish vehicle leaves me baffled that anyone would find them appealing.
These are my thoughts and opinions - sometimes I'm wrong, but not often ;-)

Trofeo

Saw heaps of them in the GC this year, and by that probably 3 or more every day. Hardly ever see them in nz. Look pretty good from some angles, and horrible from others.

Yeah, PSA went through a rough patch (almost went bankrupt) - got bailed out by France and Dongfeng; got a new CEO; rationalized their model lineup. The last RCZ was built in Sept 2015.

schattenblau

ok, fairly short lifespan, though being french the cars were probably still being sold well into 2016  >:D

and being peugeot not porsche, value can only go down

funny how psa has gone from bust to buying opel.
