Would be a very rare spare. Wouldnt S2 or 80 wagon be the same?

Not black.

Just remove the hood lining and get it recovered by a auto upholsterer, best results from someone with a vacuum table

I recently replaced the head lining on my S2 coupe, (this is never a problem with my 'quality built' ur quattro 20V) the foam backing breaks down after 20 years, best to have a 'quality' trimmer replace it with a material,
that is currently available, that matches the original as closely as possible.
While you are at it check the door trim material as the foam backing also beaks down at the same time.
It is possible to have the trimmer use the door trims again as this 'vinyl type' material it does not stretch, and 'balloon', like the head lining does. All he has to do is remove the old foam and replace.
