Guys.

What is the best place to go to to get a good deal on lowering a B7 in Auckland ?

GLIDN

depends.

Do you want a right job?
do you want it really low (coil overs),
or do you simply want the car lowered?

Mine is none sline, I want to get rid of the 4x4 look, been trying to source some sline suspensions but can't find something good, so I don't want to it really low, I want to be sline hight just improve the look, thought to buy from ecs or euro parts but shipping is insane so I guess I can find a better deal here in nz.
Can you point me to where mate ?

Which coileovers ? STs, H&R ....? I don't think so :)
I guess JOMs will fit this figure which I'm happy to use. It can't find where to buy it from in nz

Just get some lowering springs, I personally like H&R's.

I think he meant you still need to add another $500 to your coilover price to get the cert done afterwards, so you would be looking north of $2k for a decent setup.

Thought about that and it's easy upgrade but it will expedite the stock shocks wear.

Have you done it ? How long it's been?

Why do I need a cert ? If I got a decent H&R or ST kit.

You don't need a cert if you are just doing a fixed height replacement. So you can do struts and/or springs without needing to cert the drop. Unless of course you end up putting in something like adjustable camber plates.

if you are after ST shock kit or coil overs?
I can provide KW and a few others as well.
This I can most certainly assist with.

For everyone else, coil over certification costs $790 now
I have a car booked in next week for an LVV cert.

I'm after a shock and spring kit to keep the cost down and I'm not after a crazy drop mate , I want an sline hight. What can you offer here ?

Just to confirm : when I need a certification ? Only if I go really low ?

le mans

Cert required if less than 100mm ground clearance, or if the height is adjustable: http://www.lvvta.org.nz/documents/suplementary_information/LVVTA_LVV_Cert_Threshold.pdf

So a small drop using lowering springs should be fine.
