Good one.
The RS2 was always going to be collectible, and jump in value. It's time has come obviously.

What was the mileage on that car?

The ebay one was 162k miles.

How can I get an insurance valuation? The dealers won't do it (understandably they have no idea) and I never got a reply from that UK site that I paid to join.

Which UK site did you join, I had to chase and contacted the guy using his work email address as he is not on the forum that often? Use Alistair Cox - [email protected]

I've always used an NZ based quote for insurance purposes. How does a quote from another market work in NZ? do they accept it as usual?

For me yes it was used for agreed value on the RR. I had to provide to increase insurance valuation.

I did not get a reply from the guy in the UK so ended up using Darren from auto.car-tel. Very happy with the service and would recommend. Price was $115 incl GST.
