EGR delete would also require a DPF delete then.
A mate of mine just had this done on his 125kw Passat due to DPF failure.
Requires a new downpipe for the DPF delete, EGR blanking plate and a good tune. It will probably end up setting you back about the same amount of $$$, if not a bit more.
The good part it, you gain a fair bit of power and torque. The bad part it that you will spit out a bit of smoke under heavy acceleration. But because these engines are already pretty clean burning anyway, it's really only a little bit.
