Hey all

new member - just bought a '09 R36 wagon.

Previous rides of note include a supercharged 1990 BMW e30 325i (South African) and a 2012 Volkswagen Amarok 4WD Highline (lease).

As the Amarok was a lease it was always serviced under the lease agreement at Giltrap on Gt North Road. I have absolutely no probs with these guys, but as I work in Takapuna and live in Lynfield I'm hoping someone can recommend somewhere good for servicing at either end of my commute to keep it simple. Takapuna probably makes the most sense. I want a quality job for a fair price, trustworthy, etc.

I'm looking to get the DSG and Haldex serviced next week simply for peace of mind and would like to go somewhere I can start a relationship with as I plan to keep this car for a little while. I got a couple of quotes from Giltrap (who did the pre-purchase inspection) and Tristram simply for comparison but I usually find a good independent often gives the same or better service and the same or better job for a pretty competitive price so thought I'd ask you guys who are obviously the experts.

Cheers

call Steve Gooch at Endeavour Motors on Wairau Rd, 444 9430, I've tried a few "specialists" in the area and wouldn't go back, Endeavour are held in high regard by the other service "good guys" in the area like Milford Auto Electrical and Kaspa Transmissions

Thanks mate. And Autosure approved.

Others I've found in the area are Vodis Automotive and Burger's Motor Works.

Anyone had any good/bad experiences with either of these or Endeavour?

Thanks

I knew it was the right place when I first went in and there was a soap box derby car parked in the entrance and Steve races a 1958 Thunderbird, but you'll see some pretty nice euro stuff in there
