Amarok rear speakers
« on: October 27, 2017, 02:36:19 pm »
Iím looking for someone to supply and install some rear speakers in my Amarok. It does not have any currently and Iím sure it doesnít have the wiring either. I have an rcd510 for them to plug into, it may require coding to recognise the rear speakers too? In Auckland.  Thanks

Will your rear doors have the locations for the speakers already? That will make things a lot easier. When you plug in rear speakers into the RCD510 I think it will recognize them. I've just done a front speaker upgrade in my Golf and when I unplugged the rear speakers the radio (RCD310 and now RCD330) recognized it and deleted the fader option and put all output to the front.

Yes it has the factory locations for the speakers, just nothing in there. That sounds good about recognising the speakers, may not be as difficult as I thought.

The stock speakers in the Amarok are MK4 Golf ones so should be easy to find.
