I'm new to this forum so there may already be a thread similar to this so bare with me. So I've recently got a 2007 GTI, I got it at 46000 kms its now at 56000kms and I'm looking to get it serviced before getting a stage 1/1+ Unitronic tune. I know there are common issues with the Cam follower and Diverter valve so I've got those parts which I want installed when getting it serviced.

I'd appreciate any advice you guys can give me in Regards to the best place to get a Service in Auckland in your experience besides VW as I know they charge a lot more. Also Advice on the unitronic tune will be much appreciated.

Parts I bought as a future proof tune:
R8 Ignition coils (Red)
Revision D diverter valve
Cam follower

Cheers.

Cheers Phantom, I'm in hobsonville so not too far I'll give them a ring in the morning.

Send GLIDN (Hennie) on this forum a PM. He?s nearish you (Browns Bay) and is the NZ Unitronic rep. Plus he can do all the other things you mentioned too. He?s probably forgotten more about the MK5 GTI than most of us know.

Thanks for that Red Warrior.

I'll message him now and hopefully get a good deal sorted!
