Mk6 Golf folding mirrors
« on: December 06, 2017, 09:32:36 am »
My NZ New golf doesn't have the folding mirrors option on the switch - which is annoying in tight parks.

In order to fit this, I assume it is more complex than updating the switch to the version that has the option?

TIA

I have the same annoyance with my GTI.

I think the mirror mechanism itself needs to be the version with motors in them, so no a simple switch change won’t get you there.

I seem to recall seeing an option for folding mirrors in the MFI menu, maybe it can be used from there (assuming the mirror has the motor installed)

It won't have, you'll need 2 new mirrors plus switch and wiring.
