Gordon Murray has always been a huge fan of the Lotus Elan which got a mention in there, and having owned one for about 15 years myself, can only endorse his enthusiasim (spelling?)

Thanks :-) Have binge-watched Project Binky... Now I have this to hopefully fill the long gaps between Binky episodes!

Gordo

Good link, thanks - but a bit unfair to the BOM guys as the Escort is treading common ground but Binky is way out there and is a darned sight more complex project, to put it mildly, and is a spare time project for a just couple of guys in the trade.
These are my thoughts and opinions - sometimes I'm wrong, but not often ;-)

you're quite right, but it has to be admitted that Binky is certainly not a simple project and there is a lot of make it up as we go to it, I guess the real comparison will come when they make the IRS for the Escort

Escort aside, what a fantastic workshop. Wouldn't I love for them to work on a particular Audi 80 GTE.

le mans

Very enjoyable, I could happily spend a few hours watching that.

I've just subscribed to retropower's videos, having seen this Mk2 Golf shell, it's no wonder Gordon Murray chose them
