Transmission set up issue?

Have a 2015 TSi. The transmission seems to change up at very low revs - around 1500 rpm from 1st gear.
Sluggish starts until it gets to around 20 ks/hr and then boogies from there.
Have the feeling that some setting is wrong causing it to change up too quickly?

on light throttle my MK5 GTI would change up very quickly and pull 5th or 6th at very low revs, just saving fuel I guess
