Hi there anyone knows how to or interested in adding curse control into my 2010 Audi A4?

Trofeo

My wife does a pretty good job of curse control when she's in the car with me

Install a4 b8 stalks that have the cruise control on them, and then code to the car using VAG-COM.

Cruise control stalks - 8K0953502BD (might also be without the BD suffix)
Cruise control surround - 8K0953516B

Crude coding requirements;
01 - Engine
Coding or Login - I think it's login
'11463'

&

16 - Steering Wheel
Long Coding
Edit coding with the corresponding digit to enable cruise

Thanks for the reply sorry for the delayed responce.

Are you able to advise if this unit will also work for the Avant?

And are you able to provide a recommendation on a VAG-COM tool or are they all the same

THanks Heaps!

Pretty sure the part numbers posted are the stalks for the Avant, as these were the part numbers i used.

Although quickest way to check is to make sure the images on the stalks look like the ones you have (the sedan is missing the rear wipe on the right hand stalk)

Best to buy a real VAG-COM, i've had three fakes in my life and they all didn't work properly, a used VAG-COM cable is worth its weight in gold.

Doing these codes on an A3 this morning.
ECU coding needs to be done under Coding-II (some cars do not have this ability.

Regarding Steering Wheel -16 coding?
Unless the steering wheel control module supports it? It will not code either, providing you invalid r out of range code.

Sorry i've got no ideas about A3, i know this works for the A4/A5/Q5 as they all use the same stuff inside.
