Is the CAT on TSI in the same spot as a GTI? Cause mine in the tai is showing near the turbo in the front by the engine. I decided to stick to doing a resonator Delete instead of removing the CAT cause I'm more after the back fire when it changes gear. It does back fire but not so loud its very soft. I want to hear it. I found the cheapest place to do res elite s $180 in Auckland is that cheap if i have to do it that way? Just looking for some suggestions.

Doing CAT delete will provide a better overall result. It will require tuning thou.

As turbo and downpipe are located at front of the engine on 1.4 TSI. This is why it's not in the same location as per GTI.
Go see SJ @ Apex Automotive. He will be able to assist you with your quest of Resonator delete.

I simply refuse to offer the resonator delete service. But happy to point people elsewhere for this job.
