Hi there, I am after a piece of advise.

The hose that is conecting the clutch fluid reservoir and cylinder on my 85 urquattro is sweating.
It looks like the reservoir and hose have been replaced in the past and either it is deteriorating or the wrong material, possibly they used fuelhose.

Nobody seems to sell this type of hose by the meter and i was wondering if anybody got an idea what to use and where to find it.

Looking under the dash i really want to do this job only once.

Any help is appreciated, cheers.

Wurth make a blue hose specific for brake fluid. You could try Qualitat as I'm sure they stock it.

Did you find a hose solution ?

The original hose part number for clutch reservoir to master cylinder to suit rhd models is...

N 020 2811

The catch is it comes in 5 metre rolls under this part number. Rhd models require 320mm only.

Thanks for the part number but i got lucky with a mate who gave me some off cut from a job he did.

I am going to buy an original clutch reservoir from quattro corner and make it look factory correct again.

It looks like one of the previous owner had some major fluid leaks, as a large patch of sealer under the reservoir had come loose and  I peeled it of in big chunks. At least the metal underneath is nice and clean.
