Thinking of running a catch can set up on my mkv Gti Pirelli, seem to have a lot of oil in the hose from pcv to intake manifold which may be causing random puffs of smoke from exhaust.this seems to be worse when running stage 2 tuning.just wondering if anyone out there has had this issue or has advice on catch can set ups

The Red Warrior

Surprised no one else has replied to this yet. I've wondered about getting one from time to time but figured I wouldn't get one unless I was going to do an intake carbon clean first.
The ones that interest me are the ECS Tuning and Integrated Engineering.

80 Vert

Ive had one on ours for years, does nothing for carbon build up.
Had manifold off recently for something and plenty of build up in there again.

GLIDN

I have advised for many years it does not reduce or prevent carbon build up.

Only thing I can recommend to reduce carbon build up is either water methanol injection other wise additional injectors (which is not a good idea on stock turbo car)
