Hello, I'm in the market for a UR Quattro. If anyone is wanting to sell their UR, please let me know. I am interested in any car available both 10 and 20V.

Yeah thanks, I do know about these 2 cars and although I'm an importer, its much simpler to buy local.

There aren't that many around. Though I suspect there are a few stashed away in garages.

Plenty in garages in various states of restore or decomposition. I?ll wager there will be more in NZ per capita than any other market with the UK being the major exception. It was only the UK demand that prevented the production cessation in the late 1980?s.

Looks like there is one up for sale. As long as you want the B5 RS4 to go with it.
It's on the VASK facebook page for 85k for the pair

Plenty in garages in various states of restore or decomposition.

Also in garages in exactly the same state as they were in 30 years ago - neither in need of restoration, nor decomposing

I consider that there are 3 principal owner types when it comes to the urquattro
... those that drive to enjoy
... those that look to enjoy
... those that restore to enjoy

Except Rob who performs all three perpetually.

but you overlook those who regard themselves as nothing more than custodians

does anybody really "own" a work of art?

In my limited experience with a minor piece of "art" I've found that it owns me. from time to time

I am all three, rather will be when I finally restore mine.

In most other custodial jobs the custodian gets paid. It doesn't seem to work this way with quattros.
