Sorry, not sure if it should be here or under Mk5

Anyway does anyone understand what Right DuoSensor https://forums.ross-tech.com/showthread.php?5760-Hill-Hold-Assist-in-MK5&p=55849&viewfull=1#post55849 is?

Really want to get hill hold function on a Mk5 golf because my parents coming from merc find it frustrating with car rolling back on incline.

Thanks in advance

I didn't even know MK6 could do this until a a few weeks ago, If I double tap my brake pedal and let go the car will hold itself on a hill for 3 seconds before rolling back

Not sure if the MK5 does it too, but you can try it

mk6 uses MK60EC1 ABS pump which has sensor build in but Mk5 uses MK60 pump which does not

I don't know how to generate long code to use the MK60EC1 pump from a mk6 to work on a Mk5. The moderator in ross tech seems a bit hesitating to provide help on it.
