Where to buy parts?
« on: November 13, 2018, 11:10:31 am »
Hi guys new member here
I have a 2002 A6 Avant 4.2 Quattro that is in need of a few parts, cvs and viscous fan assembly plus a few other small bits. Where should I be getting these from? Are overseas suppliers best or am I better to source locally? Also, I have found parts manuals very useful when ordering parts for my other car love (land rovers). Are there any parts manuals for A6s?

FCPeuro.com is a good source if you combine a big order in one shipment, because the freight overhead is pretty significant ($39US freight to send a 92c washer!)

I always check EBay. you have a global audience and can usually negotiate on price.
