VW Golf Gti Pirelli 2009 Servicing
« on: April 01, 2019, 09:32:11 pm »
Hi all, I used to get my VWs serviced at VW Platinum in St Johns but I believe they have now gone. Looking for someone who is good value and can do a great job. I am also needing a cambelt change. Not sure if anything else needing to be done/checked on these cars as not a technical person. I do not use the DSG as I just use auto, although I should probably try as probably a lot of fun. Cars done 120k. Any recommendations please.

Have booked the car in with Qualitat European in Penrose. Quoted $1,250 inc gst for cambelt and water pump change etc and either $275 for std service or $700 for a full blown 100/120k service. I had also got a quote from another generic garage for $1,350 for the cambelt/water pump change so assume this is the going rate for quality workmanship?

Sounds about right for non dealer pricing
