Need some help, looking to replace the gearbox from manual to a auto, does anyone know other compatible transmissions, other than the stock. Reason being why I dont want a stock transmission is because it is fairly expensive, so I need help knowing if there are cheaper and other compatible transmissions. Cheers.

Wouldn't recommend.

Not easy changing a gearbox due to the subframe. Unless you have use of a proper hoist and tools (engine frame to hold engine in place as not to tip).
You also need to replace the grearbox computer and recode the main computer to tell it that it is now a auto.

Let me know how you got on.

the amount of parts you need to replace manual to auto?

you'd be far better finding someone with an auto that wants to convert to manual,
talk to each other and just swap cars.

converting these requires
wiring changes
Auto box + torque converter
Auto box computer
ECU software needs to be changed to auto
Park/lock/neutral added in so car can start and not start (if you want it like OEM)
ABS replacement if it cannot be recoded
driveshafts
half shafts
centre diff
rear diff and half shafts
exhaust

on top of this all the labour to do the change over as well.
I'm all for doing things, so few are willing to do.

This however would never truly reap the benefit and rewards one would hope.
