Hi group,
New here, hello all...
Just picked up an early (2005) mk5 golf gti.
Pics to follow. It's a nz new 2 owner 5dr in silver, leather and dsg. It's showing 183,000 k and a check of the service history shows it needs a cambelt soon!
Plus I want to change cam follower, dsg service and maybe a diverter valve too.

Where is best to buy all these bits from?
Happy to go overseas, I do all the time for Landover parts.
Im after a good reliable uk or usa supplier that will have all I need in one place.
Thank you.

I know they get a lot of ba press, but I'd suggest that you try your local dealership as a first stop, you'd be surprised how cheap some parts are there and many will give you a VASK discount

I?ve used ecstuning.com several times. They have everything you need (and a lot of stuff you tell yourself you need). Their shipping prices aren?t the cheapest though, so I only tend to make reasonable large orders from them to offset it. You could try using their free shipping option though, send to one of the NZ Post you shop places and then get it sent from there.
There?s also lots of people on trademe selling things like cam followers and diverter valves.
There?s also a list on this site of NZ and overseas sellers.
