Hi there all.

Looking for a bit of community advice on Mk4 R32 Haldex.

Golf has done 200k and is in great shape other than the haldex. Its been regularly serviced in my ownership, and shows a good history, but the haldex is now slipping and vehicle juddering on tight, low speed turns.
Started out happening on full lock (& when the unit was cold), about 12 months ago, but is getting progressively worse. Haldex was serviced as per factory specs in the last 2 years and given a clean bill of health, so I'm rather surprised at the deterioration, especially with minimal driving over the past 8 months.

If anyone can give me some pointers I'd be really appreciative. Where would I start with getting an honest/reliable diagnosis in Wellington? What can reconditioning costs run to?

Thoughts anyone?

Many thanks.

Lol she is damned.

You may get away with a new controller or get yours  repaired?

V6 4 Motion diff is identical.

Pretty common on these now, usually the controller goes bad leads to smoked clutches.

Wellington European could find no fault with the controller, or any faults at all. So perhaps I'll start with a Haldex service and see what that gives.
